NATURELDER shared its views as part of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality’s work to prepare a book documenting the city’s past.
The municipality’s Mersin Bellek Office carries out oral history and archival work to document the city’s historical and cultural heritage. Accounts from people who have witnessed Mersin’s past are recorded alongside photographs, newspapers, maps and other historical documents. These efforts aim to preserve the city’s memory and pass it on to future generations.
