NATURELDER joined the gathering in Mersin to explore proposals for strengthening volunteering.
NATURELDER attended the White Paper Workshop in Mersin on 13 September 2024. The gathering was part of the Civic Engagement Project’s consultations on strengthening volunteering in Türkiye.
The workshops brought together public institutions, civil society organisations, academics and volunteers to discuss topics including volunteer insurance, volunteering leave, and volunteers’ rights and responsibilities. Group activities explored views and proposals from different sectors.
The White Paper process aimed to bring together needs and proposals from the volunteering sector to inform policy and regulatory work.
