Volunteers in Portugal contributed to earthquake relief

Aid collected by volunteers in Portugal for people affected by the earthquake in Türkiye reached the country. The Erdemli Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation began distributing the aid.

Our relief work for the disaster-affected region, carried out in cooperation with AFAD, was discussed during a visit to our association office by the Mersin Provincial Directorate of Civil Society Relations. Aysun Kıldan, the provincial director at the time, and the directorate’s staff reviewed these activities.

We thank the volunteers in Portugal for their contribution, the Erdemli Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation for distributing the aid, and the directorate’s team for visiting our association.
