We introduced the soap we developed from prickly pear
We presented Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı with the soap developed through our research combining prickly pear with traditional olive oil and laurel soap-making techniques.
Our ongoing research and development work on prickly pear has produced a new product: soap. In this work, we combined prickly pear with traditional olive oil and laurel soap-making techniques. We announced the soap in our post of 13 March 2023.
On behalf of NATURELDER, we presented the soap to Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to the European Union. We thank him for the opportunity to share our work on local products.
The soap is part of our continuing work on prickly pear following the Rural Development with Local Products Project. It adds another example to our efforts to explore different uses for this local plant.
