We joined the TAIEX workshop exploring the commercial value and marketing of products with geographical indications.

**We attended the TAIEX Workshop on Geographical Indications, Trade and Economic Added Value in Antalya on 17–19 December 2019.**

Held through the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument, the event brought together representatives of public institutions, civil society, the private sector and producer organisations.

Experts from France and Italy explored promotion, consumer preferences and marketing approaches for local products. Presentations drew on successful geographical indication examples to share experiences of reaching international markets.
