In 2021, we participated in the GREEN GO project, an Erasmus+ Youth Mobility (KA105) initiative, which provided young people with a unique educational experience combining STEM disciplines and outdoor adventures. The project was coordinated by Cooperativa Sociale META Onlus (Italy) and included partners from Turkey, Portugal, Greece, and Serbia.

As part of the project, 10 young participants from Turkey (aged 14-16) traveled to Italy, where they engaged in scientific activities intertwined with nature and participated in intercultural exchanges with their peers from other countries.

## Activities and outcomes

- Conducting water analysis and environmental research along the Lambro River
- Studying aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna
- Engaging in STEM-focused practical experiments (pH tests, chemical tests, IFF calculations)
- Enhancing logical-deductive reasoning, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Participating in role-playing, social activities, and cultural evenings to promote intercultural dialogue
- Encouraging inclusivity by integrating youth with disabilities into the program

The final event took place at Baggero Oasis (Merone-CO, Italy), where participants shared their findings and experiences. This project aligned with the European Green Deal, fostering environmental awareness and sustainability among young people.

This project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme: Youth in Action - Key Action 1 and received a grant of €43,719 under project number 2020-2-IT03-KA105-018963.
