The Save Our Planet seminar was implemented between August 29 and September 4, 2021, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the Erasmus+ Youth Workers Mobility Programme. This seminar aimed to equip youth workers and educators with effective communication strategies and critical thinking skills to better engage young people in topics related to climate change and sustainable development. Project Goals & Activities Enhancing youth workers' knowledge about climate change through structured learning sessions. Developing communication strategies to better address young people's concerns about sustainability. Encouraging critical thinking in local communities regarding environmental issues. Organizing stakeholder engagement activities to advocate for environmental action. Evaluating the seminar and planning future follow-up initiatives. Participants were youth workers and individuals working with young people, with no prior knowledge of climate change required. The seminar was hosted by No Excuse Slovenia and included partner organizations from Turkey, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Croatia, and Serbia. The seminar took place in the No Excuse Slovenia headquarters in Ljubljana, a city known for its green initiatives and sustainability, having been named the European Green Capital in 2016. This project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme: Youth Workers Mobility, covering travel expenses and accommodation for participants, with a total budget of €17,160 under the project number 2020-1-SI02-KA105-015477.
